OET WE PRINT YOUR ENERGY

«We print your Energy»

With this slogan, the Greek company Organic Electronic Technologies is recommended to the general public. In general, because in the specialist, as in the international energy industry, it has already made its recommendations for 30 years.

What's different about OET based in Thermi, Thessaloniki?

Printing energy

ORGANIC  ELECTRONIC  TECHNOLOGIES  is  the only international company active in the production of flexible 3rd generation organic printed photovoltaics, and printed organic LEDs for energy production and lighting, respectively, and produces high-tech, light, environmentally friendly products that can be placed on any kind of building site, greenhouses, tourism items and pergolas or even in electric cars such as ECOCAR cars where OET applied its 3rd generation photovoltaics in cooperation with the company ECOSUN ltd.

Organic Electronic Technologies  is  not  just a  company  that manufactures  organic  electronics, it has the  technology  to produce organic  photovoltaics (OPVs) giving  eco-innovative  solutions  in energy, lighting, heating and cooling. It assumes the responsibility  and coordination  of  the manufacturers  of  all  scientific  instruments and quality  control  systems installed  on  the  production  line. It creates software  for  the  decisions  and  corrective  actions  that production machines make. In other words, it creates  the  Digital  Industry. That  is why it is actively  involved  in European  programs  that  establish it.

The  OET sun lounger  creates  a place  of  innovation  under  the sun. It comes  with a small refrigerator with iced water, soft drinks, or wine, while  on  its  built-in USB  port  the user can charge his mobile phone or tablet. The necessary energy for all  this is provided by the flexible photovoltaic films  with  which the sunbed shade has been lined. Through them they accumulate solar energy, store it in windows and use it for the needs of the user. This is how the "smart" wooden pergola works, with a build-up capacity of 65 W which is sufficient for the simultaneous  charging  of six mobile devices, as well as the energy umbrella  of  the  sea.

But innovative  applications  don't stop here. Not only sunbeds, but also large beach umbrellas  that  generate energy from the sun and store it for the operation of refrigerators and electrical appliances  that  provide conveniences and enjoyment to users, but also autonomous energy awnings and pergolas that produce energy lighting and shading at the same time are some other impressive applications.

Of particular interest are the innovative products of the company mainly for  building  installations  such as glazing  and  glazing  with built-in translucent organic photovoltaics for energy production and aesthetics – architectural  intervention with  unobstructed  visual  view, but  at  the  same time protection from the harmful UV radiation of the sun.

Organic Photovoltaics and the new emerging market

Organic  Photovoltaics  (OPV) devices convert solar energy into electricity. Compared to the previous technology similar devices are considered cheaper in their production, flexible and environmentally friendly, since  they are fully recyclable. Solar polymer cells also have the ability  to  display transparency, and can receive coloring by creating decorative and bioclimatic applications in windows, walls outdoors  and  indoors.

It is estimated that by 2027 the global market for printed, flexible and organic electronics will grow from the $29.28 billion that is now to 73.43 billion. According to the "Organic Photovoltaic Markets 2016-2025" report, the market for OPVs used to manufacture integrated photovoltaics (BIPV), solar chargers and off-grid power generation will soar from the $355 million estimated in 2021 to $580 million by 2027 recording a 63% increase.
